Abstrak

Pelajar internasional memainkan peran penting dalam lanskap pendidikan global, dan memahami perspektif mereka mengenai investasi dalam pendidikan adalah hal yang sangat penting. Pandemi COVID-19 telah berdampak signifikan terhadap mobilitas pelajar internasional, sehingga menyebabkan pergeseran arus pelajar internasional secara global. Makalah penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi sikap dan persepsi siswa internasional terhadap pendidikan tinggi. Lebih lanjut, makalah ini juga mengevaluasi hasil investasi dalam kerangka pendidikan yang dikemukakan oleh Ogunode dan Ayoko (2023). Partisipan penelitian ini melibatkan 15 mahasiswa internasional yang sedang belajar/belajar di luar negeri, khususnya di Australia, Malaysia, Korea Selatan, Turki, dan Yaman. Temuan menyoroti bahwa hasil investasi di bidang pendidikan tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi pribadi tetapi juga pengembangan profesional untuk mendukung adaptasi dalam globalisasi dan keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti pengetahuan, produktivitas, kemajuan, kreativitas, kesadaran, inovasi, reformasi, kolaborasi, serta Pemberdayaan.
